Thank you to Rob and his team. On Tuesday the 25/11 after consulting with Rob I made the agonising decision to have my beloved red setter Poppy put to sleep. Bless her she was 16 years on the Sunday. She had a good life and was well loved and looked after by all the staff and vets. It was a hard choice to make but I could not let her suffer any more.
I would like to thank Rob and all the staff there who with their kind words and sympathy made it more bearable for me.

I just wish to thank the vets, i do not even know their names,(sorry, I don't visit very often) as at the time i was emotionally unstable! I knew i would have to have my faithful pooch put to sleep, she had lived well beyond her life expectancy & was very poorly, but this does not make it any easier & i was just a wreck, (still am) they were both just so kind i really cant thank them enough for helping my "baby" go over the rainbow bridge THANKYOU.

Our dogs have been wonderfully cared for by the Team at Wrekin View for many years now. This week there is a very particular thank you to Rob, with Anya, Cheryl and the team for the care of our springer spaniel Henry who went from slightly 'off colour' to critically ill in a matter of a few days. Rob's care and skill and rapid diagnosis of an unusual, potentially fatal illness, then prompt treatment, means that Henry is now back at home recovering - we cannot thank them enough.

I want to leave a comment because recently my dog, Nina, was spayed and the staff have been nothing but lovely with her. She's a difficult dog and can sometimes get a little barky / snappy. But they knew instantly how to handle her kind of behaviour and did an excellent job of providing pre and post - op care. The vet nurse, who I wish I had her name, was absolutely lovely and seeing Nina take to somebody who was otherwise a stranger weeks before was lovely. It's nice to know I can take Nina into this vets without worrying of anybody underestimating her behaviour / and knowing she'll receive the up most and best care. I can't thank you guys enough for the wonderful job you did and the excellent care she received. Thank you so much. She might be a little monster, but she's my baby and you all took such great care of her.

I would like to thank Rob and Mel for their kindness and compassion when I took my lovely 16 year old terrier Pip to the vets this week. I knew that she had to be put to sleep that day so that she didn't suffer after growing old gracefully she had mobility problems and struggled to walk or stay on her feet bless her. Rob and Mel allowed me time to say goodbye and reassured me that I was making the right decision for Pip which was the most important thing of course. No amount of money could buy that amount of caring compassion and respect show by them both that day. My sincere thanks .

For anyone wanting to choose a veterinary practice, I would honestly recommend Wrekin View, I have had many animals treated here over the years, the practice treating them from their birth to their passing, always being professional, friendly and compassionate. Then two years ago we had AJ, the cutest puppy, but what a diva!!!!, at first very shy, but now a complete madam!!! very possessive over myself and my daughter which can come over as aggressive. However Mel takes charge when we have to visit and AJ is treated with kindness and patience, she recently had her booster and Mel and Anya took charge - I actually think AJ turned into a "kitten" whist she was in the treating room with them!!!! Many many thanks to all of you at this practice for understanding both our pets and us as humans!!! well done.

I lost my beautiful little boy Monty today, I would like to say a very big heartfelt thank you to everyone at the practice especially Anya and the nurse who assisted her they were thoughtful, polite, and so gentle with Monty right to the end

I would like to thank Rob for seeing my cat Josh at short notice on Wednesday morning, and taking him to Wellington to check his swelling in his mouth, which we think was a sting. After medication, by Wednesday night he was nearly back to his normal self, and Thursday he was back to chasing the wildlife in the wood, eating for England, and requiring loads of fuss, so normal life resumed. Many thanks to Rob and his team that always are so caring.

I've been using Wrekin View Vets since 1977 with far too many cats and dogs to mention and, over the years, I've seen many changes to the practice. But the one constant has always been the superb level of care provided to me and my pets.
Wrekin View staff have always been excellent: compassionate, caring, understanding and very knowledgeable.
The vets always discuss everything with you and always act in the best interests of your pet.
I would recommend Wrekin View to everyone. They are, quite simply, magnificent.

I would like to say a very big thank you for saving my golden retriever Daisy's life. Daisy is 13 years old and had a pyometra and she had lost a lot of blood. Due to her age it was a big risk to operate; not only from the shock of the operation, but also the risk from the anaesthetic and the anaemia. She came through but had problems afterwards as the bleeding just wouldn't stop. The after care she was given by Anya, Rob and the nursing team was excellent, and thanks to the team she is now fit and well again. I first joined the practice 41 years ago, when Richard Griffin was there and the practice was called Martin, Simpson and Reid. I have bred golden retrievers and have always had cats, together with guineapigs which were show quality ones and when the children were younger many smaller animals. I can honestly say that I have never in all that time had one complaint about the practice and have recommended them to quite a number of people, who are also very satisfied. Once again, thank you very much for your care and attention, you are doing a super job.

Just wanted to say that your practice is always so friendly. Every vet we have seen always spends time to explain things. I had to have my guinea pigs put to sleep last year and Rob was so kind and compassionate right until the end. Jane also had kind words of comfort.....she also always has a treat waiting for Ralf when we attend! You are all lovely.

"I first used "Martin Simpson and Reid) in 1976 when I had my first dog Sally. Richard Griffin was the new young vet on the block and he took such good care of Sally and those that followed. I trusted him absolutely and totally.
