Wrekin View Veterinary Practice with deep regret are no longer able to re home cats in the Telford and Shropshire areas,due to increasing legislation and national RSPCA criteria.

We will continue to administer first aid and treatment to injured or ill cats, that are brought to us by a RSPCA inspector or authorised by the local Shropshire RSPCA branch.

Any person requiring RSPCA help with their or stray animals are advised to contact the RSPCA on their national number 03001234999.

The Pet Passport Scheme will change from January 2012. To be eligible to re-enter the UK from another EU country, animals will now have to be microchipped and receive a single rabies vaccination. Whereas, under the current scheme, the animal would then need blood testing for rabies immunity, this will become unnecessary. Also, your pet will become eligible to re-enter the UK only 3 weeks post-vaccination (previously 6 months). 

Vaccine Amnesty Month has been extended to June 21st 2011. Take advantage of this money-saving offer if your pet's vaccinations have lapsed!

Wrekin View is now the proud owner of a new digital Xray processor. This allows us to obtain much better quality Xrays then by traditional means using film; this will mean better and faster diagnosis for your pet if Xrays are required.
