It is with sadness that I have to announce that Laura, one of our Veterinary Nurses, is leaving us to go and work at a veterinary practice nearer home; we are very sad to see her go and would like to take this opportunity to thank her for all her hard work for the practice and its patients over the years. On a happier note, we have another Laura (also a registered Veterinary Nurse) starting with us on April 16th. She is most welcome and I hope that she will enjoy working at Wrekin View. There may be some confusion to start with about names though! June 2012 is Dental Care Month! 08/02/2012

The Pet Passport Scheme will change from January 2012. To be eligible to re-enter the UK from another EU country, animals will now have to be microchipped and receive a single rabies vaccination. Whereas, under the current scheme, the animal would then need blood testing for rabies immunity, this will become unnecessary. Also, your pet will become eligible to re-enter the UK only 3 weeks post-vaccination (previously 6 months). Add Comment |
